Barbara Gordon lives in San Diego, California and has twenty years of experience in the health care industry providing practice management services (HR, billing manager, payroll & employee benefit packages and personal finances) for medical group practices and solo physicians. She is also an artist and owner of her own Photography studio & business.
Barbara started dancing at age26 studying belly dance at Dance Center West. From there she studied with, and became a member of, Aisha Ali's dance troupe in Los Angeles, CA. Later she also became a member of the famous AMAN International Folk Ensemble as a dancer and performed with the group for 12 years; touring the East Coast, Mid-West and Southwest of the United States, plus two tours of Alaska. She has performed locally in Los Angeles with AMAN at the Music Center's Dorthy Chandler Pavilion, Royce Hall and the Skirball Cultural Center and at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) in New York. Other forms of dance Barbara has studied are: Ballet, Flamenco and Kathak Indian dance.
